2008 Solution Centers

The 2008 Solution Centers gave attendees the unique opportunity to share best practices and interact with other industry professionals to get the answers to their most pressing questions. Nowhere else could attendees participate in dynamic exercises focused on strategies and find techniques for successful golf course, facility and club operations.

Team SolutionsTeam Solutions

As the “town center” of the trade show floor, the Team Solutions Center was center stage on the floor.  This year, Team Solutions provided the ultimate team-building experience – the Pit Crew Challenge. Here, attendees and their colleagues participated in practical learning activities that reinforced the skills needed to renew processes, adapt to new environments, implement bold ideas and maintain a competitive edge.

ns Clubhouse Solutions

The Clubhouse Solutions Center was designed to help attendees maximize their trade show experience by providing one-stop shopping to identify and locate the products, brands, services and companies they were seeking. Attendees found quick answers to real problems though forums and networking opportunities with other industry professionals.

Environmental Solutions Environmental Solutions

The Environmental Solutions Center demonstrated how golf facilities can effectively communicate their environmental benefits to (or within) their communities. “On the course” education was presented in conjunction with highlights from the GCSAA’s Golf Course Environmental Profile surveys, research products, EDGE resources, and other educational information that can be used at home to develop education programs, respond to environmental questions, and enhance outreach and communication efforts.

Golf Course Solutions Golf Course Solutions

The Golf Course Builders Association of America, the American Society of Golf Course Architects, the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America and the Irrigation Association constructed and renovated tee boxes in the Golf Course Solutions Center. Attendees watched the tee boxes progress while learning from experts in the field.

Range and Outdoor Facility Solutions Range and Outdoor Facility Solutions

The Range and Outdoor Facility Solutions Center featured an indoor golf studio -- including practice cages, golf simulators, a putting green provided by Golf Greens “Fore” U, and an equipment area that featuring a trade-in network and club fitting. Attendees had the opportunity to test their skills, demo new equipment from leading manufacturers, learn from swing and ball flight analysis, and participate in “closest to the pin” competitions.

Indoor Networking Parks

Four networking parks were available for attendees, with small seating areas and food and beverage for short networking meetings with colleagues across the trade show floor. The networking parks featured satellite internet kiosks and a product locator kiosk.

New Product Showcase

More than 70 exhibitors showcased their newest products and services will along the 40' aisle leading up to the Team Solutions Center located in the center of the trade show floor.

Buyer/Seller Marketplace

This area within the Exhibitor Business Lounge/Trade Show Management Office on the trade show floor, located at the back of Hall A, became a comfortable and semi-private space for exhibitors and their customers to conduct brief business meetings or close sales away from the booth. Small meeting rooms were provided on a first-come, first-served basis, and refreshments were available for purchase.
